Only One Available: Original Crow tacked belt, circa 1880. Belts were commonly used by all of the plains tribes to suspend bags, knife sheaths, and other items. This is an amazing example in great condition. There are initials inscribed "HL" with red ochre inside. The buckle is of older style, and could have been salvaged from an earlier belt. This belt has lots of history yet to be discovered.

It measures 40" in length and 3" wide. No major condition issues besides cracking and stiffness which comes with age. Perfect for a Native American collection!

Ex. Robert Taylor collection of Norman, OK.
