Only One Available: This is a very nice example of a Fossil Sand Dollar (Clypeasteroida).
Clypeasteroids (sand dollars) comprise species of generally flattened, burrowing sea urchins. They are known from the Late Palaeocene to the Recent and found worldwide.
This fossil is in great condition. Very little wear. There is hardened sand on the bottom of the sand dollar. It measures 3" diameter.
