Rare & early plains parfleche knife sheath, c. second half 19th century. Has a rare blue pigment with a purple hue, and outlined in black. The simple square design is never seen and one of a kind. Truly an exceptional knife sheath. Sewn with sinew, lg. 8.5 in.
